As many of you know, the legacy system had timezone issues anywhere outside of the hosted Sydney timezone. The new system is built on UTC time (+-0), and then all times are aggregated according to the Client -> Location timezone. This will give us a robust, future proof solution to all features. Wheter it be your standard probe log, incoming deliveries, cook chill process, and more. NOTE - If you notice the wrong timezone in any of your client or location settings, please notify james@smartprobe.com.au after changing it in your settings so I can check probe logs match.
The new and improved corrective action feature. Corrective actions will fall in to one of two categories, but managed in the same panel. DELIVERIES: Delivery corrective actions are created via the Incoming Delivery form. An option can be selected to automatically create one if needed. For example, the delivery is damaged, out of acceptable temp, ect. Once a corrective action is created, a notification will be sent to location managers to ACTION and CLOSE OUT. PROBE LOGS: (yet to implement) A probe log corrective action is created when a probe falls/rises out of the users acceptable temperature ALERT range. Once a corrective action is created, a notification will be sent to location managers to ACTION and CLOSE OUT.
The new and improved Daily Checklists feature! This feature now gives users complete customisation of their daily checklists. You can use SmartProbes provided default settings, or completely customise your Groups/Areas/Categories/Items to suit your specific needs. We've also introduced a "kiosk style" login. This will eliminate having to create user accounts for every single person completing a checklist (great for those businesses who use a central device for employees). How it works: -Managers create a new staff member in their "Staff directory" (just a name and a PIN) -The user grabs the communal device/tablet, selects the daily checklist they want to complete, selects their name and enters their PIN -Once complete the checklist gets sent to a manager for sign off
New and improved incoming delivery form that supports: - manual or LIVE probe temp reading - linked to food items/categories for easy searching - attach an invoice number/photo - automatically create a corrective action report for damaged/defective deliveries
The new SmartProbe App has some exciting new security features. These include: - A new password encrypter (meaning old passwords are void and you will be issued with a new one) - 2 factor auth - Multi tenant users (your user account can switch between tenants/lcoations with a simply drop down menu) saving the hassle of needing multiple logins for multiple locations.
Users will soon have to move their subscriptions to one of our new payment providers. This is to help streamline invoicing and payments so our team can spend more time on developing and improving the Smart Probe system.
The new SmartProbe app has advanced user role creation. This gives us the ability to seamlessly create an unlimited number of different user types with different access to the system. Examples: Payroll user - can restrict to payments and deliveries only Admin - can view/edit/access all sectors User - Can view certain areas, submit certain forms (such as incoming delivery) + much much more If you'd like to create your own User Role, or have one built for you with specific access, please contact james@smartprobe.com.au
